Adaptive Dance is dance and Creative Movement specifically for individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities.

Studio Based Classes

Creative Movement, Modern Dance, and Ballet Basics for every age and skill level.

Working within schools, elderly communities and adaptive homes to bring the joy of movement and the arts to all.

Creating several performances throughout the  year with community dancers, studio students and guest artists. 

Upcoming Events

Integrated Dance & School Curriculum

Friday, July 15 from 10am-4pm ($75)

Participants will learn a basic structure and template to design an integrated lesson plan, enabling dance teachers to develop, teach and assess learning activities in dance and another content area. Participants will develop strategies to use dance to contribute to academic achievement, and practice classroom management skills for active learners.

Volunteer Day at Cohesion

Thursday, June 16th from 3-7pm

Please join us of a few hours of volunteer work on June 16th.  We have a bench and planter to be built, walls, doors and curbs to be painted and general outdoor & indoor maintenance.  If you are interested, please submit your information below.

Summer Camp

Summer 2022 Camp Registration Open

Summer Camps starting in mid-June through August are open for registration.  Kids Dance & Art camps for ages 3-5 & 6-8. We offer Adaptive Camps uniquely designed for youth and adults with disabilities.  A week long Dance & Tech Workshop will be offered this year as well as a week long Technique Intensive Workshop for beginning to advanced dancers.
